UnScripted - Christy Pastore - HOT HOT HOT

I received an ARC from the awesome Christy Pastore for an honest review!

Synopsis: “His gaze on me was intense, I couldn’t look away. I felt as if I was revealing my entire soul to him in this moment.”

The range of emotions I had experienced with Ronan felt like a topsy-turvy spinning roller coaster. Suddenly I was awake for the first time in what felt like years. Every fiber of my being was filled with heated desire, passion, lust and fear, and all I wanted was more… more of everything, more of him. How had I just lived these past few years only going through the motions? But, as glorious as all of this was, was I kidding myself? Could it be real? Or just a moment in time - a few days of thrilling and scary excitement rolled into one? The moment before you hit that first big drop on your favorite coaster, you fall, and then it's over.

This isn’t your typical Hollywood fairy tale where the typecast ordinary girl next door meets the famous handsome actor and they fall in love. Despite the emotional and physical scars that serve as reminders of Holliday Prescott’s past, she has evolved into a strong young woman. Ronan Connolly has loved and lost, but he’s never been in love. The weight of Hollywood’s expectations and the scripted games people play have left him bruised but not broken.

He's always followed everyone else's script and she wrote her own. That was until fate swept in with other plans.

MATURE CONTENT
This story contains sexually explicit material and is intended for mature individuals over the age of eighteen."

Oh my......so after a long and cold shower, I'm all ready to finally write my review for this amazing book.

Like the synopsis said, this is not your typical Hollywood, boy meets girl story. While Ronan is the hottest thing on the Hollywood planet in this book (and I mean HOT in the hottest sense possible), Holliday also has made a name for herself, so both of them are no strangers to spotlight. When they meet, through the CUTEST way possible (just ask Christy, I loooooooooved it), sparks were flying right away. And with a hot Irish guy like Ronan, no wonder. It was bound to happen. Plus, have you seen Christy's muse for Ronan?? Hello!!!! Talk about hotness right there!

The story itself slowly unfolds from then on. Both of them get involved in a whirlwind of passion, where some might say: oh wow, this happens too fast, and others go like: sometimes life works mysterious ways. And it does, I can tell you that from experience. If you meet the one you love, it doesn't matter if you know after a week, a month or a year. You just know. And this is the beauty of this book: both characters are grown people, that have been through a lot in their life, no matter what position they might hold or better said, what job they have.

Holliday has psychological scars that run so deep, and yet only made her a stronger person that knows exactly what she does and doesn't want from life. She hasn’t let what has happened to her change her in any way. She used all those experience to come out stronger.
And Ronan....Oh my Ronan! He's completely gorgeous and you don't even realise how he messes with your head....and other parts of your body! He’s a total package or Irish hotness! Plus, he does have a dirty mouth on him. Oh boy does he ever! But, there are moments where his gentleman-like speech comes out, and he's all sophisticated, but once the door opens, the things that come out of his mouth are just....*excuse me while I go fan myself*

This story is HOT. All kinds of HOT, so be prepared for lots of hotness. And have I mentioned hot?? I'm gonna go take a cold shower again. However, I will say that there were some moments where I felt that it was a little too much sex...believe me, I can't believe that I'm saying this myself, but at times it felt that the story could benefit just a little more from a little less of it.

Another great thing about this book: One thing I already realized when reading "Fifteen Weekends", Christy's first work, is that she's extremely detail-oriented. The explanations are very clear and make it easy for you to picture every scene in your head. And I mean EVERY scene LOL I loved that though, already have with Fifteen Weekends. So the style of writing I definitely enjoy.

What we get to experience with this book are the first days of the passion that binds Ronan and Holliday together. We see how insecure it can make you feel to want someone more than you think possible, and also not being able to get enough of that person.

So if you haven't added this book to your TBR, you should definitely do it <3 Get it now!!!!
Yours,
Yvi
