Meet Dylan, Hades and Apollo - The Goddess-Series

It was my second time reading Goddess of the Sea by P.C. Cast, and it's my second time I am totally in love with this book. First, I love the new covers and they look amazing on my shelf and second... I just never can get around how well P.C. Cast manages to tell the mermaid tale... But first things first, what is the book about?

On the night of her twenty-fifth birthday, alone in her apartment, Air Force Sergeant Christine Canady wished for one thing: a little magic in her life. After drinking way too much champagne, she performed, of all crazy things, a goddess-summoning ritual, hoping that it would somehow make her life a little less ordinary...but she never believed the spell would actually work.
When her military plane crashes into the ocean, CC's mission overseas takes an unexpected turn. She awakens to find herself in a legendary time and place where magic rules the land—occupying the body of the mythic mermaid Undine. But there is danger in the waters and the goddess Gaea…

Marked - Eternal Guardians for life

THERON—Dark haired, duty bound and deceptively deadly. He’s the leader of the Argonauts, an elite group of guardians that defends the immortal realm from threats of the Underworld. From the moment he walked into the club, Casey knew this guy was different. Men like that just didn’t exist in real life—silky shoulder-length hair, chest impossibly broad, and a predatory manner that just screamed dark and dangerous. He was looking for something. Her.

She was the one. She had the mark. Casey had to die so his kind could live, and it was Theron’s duty to bring her in. But even as a 200-year-old descendent of Hercules, he wasn’t strong enough to resist the pull in her fathomless eyes, to tear himself away from the heat of her body.

As war with the Underworld nears, someone will have to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Well, well, well... This book was a reading from my little goodreads-online-bookclub with the most amazing girls ( I <3 you!) and there a re a few things to say about it.

First... H…

Canes of Divergence - another Dusk Gate awesomeness

**I received an ARC copy of this book from the author for an honest review**

Sooooooo, I give you (finally I might add LOL):

Oh my, ever since I finished "Blooms of Consequence" I wanted to have this book so badly. You guys all know how much I love this series so it comes as no surprise when I tell you that I was super excited when I got my copy of the book.
The story continues right where we left of with the last book. Quinn and Will are parents and for the moment enjoying life at the Eirentheos castle. But of course the peace doesn't last and before long, the whole castle is in uproar due to unexpected visitors and threats coming from places that were not expected anymore. In the end, will the secret of the gate be safe or will their enemies finally succeed in getting what they always wanted: across the other side?
So much for the story. You know I'm not a fan of actually telling you much of what is happening in the book because you should all just go and read it righ…

The Prince of Ravens (The Exile Series #1)

The Prince of Ravens has vanished.
Word spreads quickly from the Fortress of the Empress, through the dark streets of Lucien, and to the far corners of the Empire of Ages. The Children are summoned to the Fortress, and the people talk in muffled whispers, if they dare to talk at all, of secret plots and ancient prophecies. Some say the Prince was murdered, others that he was kidnapped; but underneath it all runs a darker word, one full of terrifying possibility:
Rumor begets rumor, and soon the whisper of truth is lost in the swirling winds of growing fear. For the Prince of Ravens is the prophesied Lord of Death, and on his shoulders rests the fate of the Empire.

Okay, so first I gotta say: No really Book-Boyfriend-material, but I really liked the book nonetheless. So now let's talk about it.
It took me a long while to get into the book for different reasons. The first was that the prince has no name and for me it was kinda weird always just having him called 'the Prince …

My Favorite Mistake - hot roommate deluxe

The story: Two secrets. One bet. Who will break first? Taylor Caldwell can't decide if she wants to kiss her new college roommate or punch him. On the one hand, Hunter Zaccadelli is a handsome blue-eyed bundle of charm. On the other, he's a tattooed, guitar-playing bad boy. Maybe that's why Taylor's afraid of falling in love with him, or anyone else. She doesn't want to get burned, so she needs him gone before it's too late. Hunter himself has been burned before, but Taylor's sexy laugh and refusal to let him get away with anything make her irresistible. Determined not to be kicked out of her life without a fight, Hunter proposes a bet: if she can convince him she either truly loves or hates him, he'll leave the apartment;and leave her alone. But when the man behind Taylor's fear of giving up her heart resurfaces, she has to decide: trust Hunter with her greatest secret, or do everything in her power to win that bet and drive him away forever.

The hotness that is Dank Walker - Existence Trilogy

Oh my......while I'm still swooning over Death (yes, you read that correctly) I'm also gonna try to review this amazing series that just came up in my rereads:

So the story is pretty simple....or not: Pagan Moore has always been able to see lost souls walking around. It has never been different, but one day, a wandering soul suddenly starts to talk to her. And that certainly hasn't happened before. Dank Walker, the "lost soul" that is talking to her, is a sexy, brooding, temperamental and smug young man that has all the makes of making her life hell. In every way possible. Before Pagan knows what is happening, she feels a certain draw to Dank and that confuses her. I mean, hello, why would you find a soul, that noone else but you can see, attractive and would want to keep around? Right, no reason. Pagan still can't get Dank out of her mind and before she knows what's happening, Dank is THERE. Disguised as the lead singer of a local rock band girls everywhe…

Immortal Guardians - Night Reigns & Phantom Shadows

Oh, Dianne, I bow to thee! These guys are just... But I guess you all know that, too. It's hard to find a word for guys like Marcus, Bastien, √Čtienne and Richart... But, first things first. What's the book about?
Ami isn't much for trusting strangers. She has a hard time trusting anyone. But she's no coward, and she's no pushover in the protection department either. So when she comes across a mysterious warrior taking on eight deranged vampires on his own, she doesn't hesitate to save his bacon. Of course, that was before she realized what one little rescue would get her into . . .
Marcus Grayden has been an immortal protector of humanity for eight hundred years, and at the moment he's not interested in backup. From the moment Ami arrives in his life, he can't deny that she's strong, smart, and extremely skilled at watching his back. But she's also destroying his protective solitude and stirring desires he can't bear to awaken. After all, what…

Forever My Girl at The Edge of Never

I finished two books in the last two days and even though I kinda wanted to start reviewing the other one, I will follow the way I read them.
And that means Forever my girl gets reviewed first.
What is the book about: I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after.
I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I’ve poured my soul into my music, but I’ve never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile.
And now I’m going back.
After ten years.
I hope I can explain that after all this time.
I still want her to be my forever girl.
Boy... I loved that book. Like seriously. From beginning to end... Well, except for the end because then the book was over and there was NOTHING more! Devastating, really...
“I promise you, I’m done running. I’m still selfish, but only where you a…

Dusk Gate Chronicles - A modern fairytale

Oh my, where to start here! I wanna get you all to read this story so badly, because it's one of the most beautifully written stories I have read in a long time.

The Dusk Gate Chronicles - so far
It's really hard to do this review spoiler free, but I will try my best. The story takes us on the ride of Quinn Robbins, who is a quiet but smart girl living with her mom and her siblings. Her dad died when she was really young, so it has always been just the four of them. When an accident has Quinn seeing a guy from her school  vanish into thin air (or at least that's what it seems like to her), she is curious. She knows him, he goes to school with her, but he is the quiet and lonely type. Not anybody Quinn really would take notice of. Will, while being a loner, might have his own secrets to hide though. Curiosity wins and Quinn follows her fellow class mate in the woods one night and before she knows it, she finds herself in a different world, where kingdoms are real and queens a…

Shadow Falls - The end.....OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Okay, so this is the last book in the Shadow Falls series! Good thing though that the next series from CC Hunter will also focus on one of the participants in camp...but enough of that!
For this review I give you

Oh my, how I loved this book!! I was really sad, knowing that the story will end...most of all because that also meant I had to say goodbye to my favorite were Lucas....and isn't he a hottie. I know with this book you are either Team Derek or Team matter which, when starting to read this book, all things are still possible. With Mario, Kylie's all time foe, on the lose and out for blood, Kylie has to find a way to defeat him. Staying at the camp with the other chameleons is not an option, so she returns to Shadow Falls, to her friends and her family. But being there doesn't make things easier. While trying to find a new quest for her, Kylie also has to deal with the matters of her own heart (which for me that wasn't a hard decision), weddings and bab…

Soul Seekers - "Mystic"

Alyson Noel's books never disappoint. I have been a fan since the beginning and am always excited when a new book comes out.

The Soul Seeker series is already in their third book, and while the first one still seemed to grad at times, the second and now the third are really picking up the pace.
The story so far: Daire Santos didn't know anything all her life except the movie sets where her mom worked as a make-up artist. On her sixteenth birthday though, everything changes. Always having plagued with visions she didn't know what to think of, they make her go a little crazy that particular day. Forced to fly back to the States with her mom, Daire sees her life going down the drain. That is, until the grandmother she has never known, calls her mother out of the blue, claiming that she is the only one that can help her. Unwilling and yet seeing no other choice, Daire is shipped off to Enchantment, the middle of nowhere in Mexico. With the help of her grandmother, she realizes t…
