Donna Grant's Dark Warriors #1 & #2

Image
Okay, so about six months ago I decided to order a whole group of series-starts and among them was Donna Grant's  Midnight's Master . After that, without even reading a book from her, I liked her Facebook-page and followed her because I love her covers. Seriously, I just did it at first for the covers. Then I finished another series by someone else and decided to just take a leap of fath and order book two, three and four of Donna Grant's Dark Warriors. While waiting for the books I started book one, already knowing that I totally and thoroughly would love this series. I mean, hot warriors, strong, powerful, Scottish and wearing a kilt? COME ON. It's heaven! And what can I say? Logan and Gwynn captured me right from the beginning. There's nothing better than a guy being clueless about something, basically totally lost in a time he never has known before, and still being all male and amazing! I loved how Donna Grant actually brings magic to the 21s

Darker after Midnight (Midnight Breeds #10) by Lara Adrian

I have to say that this novel did feel pretty final... And still, I can't wait to read on. But, before I get there, let me talk about this book. I might not fill endless lines with everything I have to say about this book and still keep the review spoiler free, but I still wanna say a few words. I already have been worrying about Chase in book nine, really, really worrying, especially because he seemed to be already at the edge and beyond. I couldn't picture how Lara Adrian would manage to get Chase back from where he was.  Having Chase and Tavia together from the beginning, and pretty soon locked together by more than circumstance seriously was the best thing that could have happened to that book. I mean, I wanted Chase to have a reason to get better soon, but of course that didn't work out that easy. Two-hundred pages before the end I was wondering how things could ever come back together again. Chase was so far away from the order that I worried he'

" Once upon a time there was a little fairy that was loved in all the lands. Her father was devoted to her, her mother never had possessed a more beautiful treasure and even the evil queen couldn't resist the little fairy's charm. She was a whirlwind and yet a sweetheart.  A dreamer by nature the fairy never saw deceit coming. yet there was one guy, a beast on the outside, a soft prince on the inside, that had no respect for honor, and so he got the little fairy and convinced her to help him steal the heart of a pretty princess. The task wasn't as easy as it sounded because the beast already had broken the princess's heart once and the princess had moved on, trying to shield herself from heartbreak by refusing the beast's advances and not believing any promise he made her. Yet, one day the beast and his clever side-kick fairy got the princess exactly where they wanted her: In the arms of the beast. So, eventually all fairytales have

Okay, when I started this book I was like: I liked neither Corinne very much nor did I like Hunter, so basically I was rather interested to see where Lara Adrian would take this whole book. And I can already say that , even though I usually try to not dissect all things happening in the book, I will do it this time simply because so much happened that made me sit on the edge of my seat all the time. But for now let's start with the synopsis: DELIVERED FROM THE DARKNESS, A WOMAN FINDS HERSELF PLUNGED INTO A PASSION THAT IS DEEPER THAN MIDNIGHT. At eighteen, Corinne Bishop was a beautiful, spirited young woman living a life of privilege as the adopted daughter of a wealthy family. Her world changed in an instant when she was stolen away and held prisoner by the malevolent vampire Dragos. After many years of captivity and torment, Corinne is rescued by the Order, a cadre of vampire warriors embroiled in a war against Dragos and his followers. Her innocenc

Worth the Chance (MMA Fighter #2) by Vi Keeland

Okay, besides the cover, that already is HOT, I can say that I was so totally excited for Vinny's story, you have no idea! Having met him in the first book ' Worth the Fight' I was happy we'd see more of Vinny... And boy, do we see a LOT from him! I really loved the book right from the beginning. I mean, what could be hotter than a MMA-Fighter giving class? You can bet your pretty behind that I'd be in his damn class every saturday... And whenever else he's actually giving one. No matter what it would be on... But now let's get the synopsis out of the way: Meet Liv Michaels It may have been seven years, but I'd know him anywhere. Sure, he's grown, filled out in all the right places, but his captivating blue eyes and cocky grin are exactly the way I remember. Even though I'd much rather forget. Liv Michaels is almost there. She's smart, determined and weeks away from landing the job she's dreamed about for year
