"Loyalty and Lies" by L.A. Cotton - Yvi's review

Ohhh, where to start with this review! First of all, I was SUPER lucky and excited to have received an ARC copy by the author, so THANK YOU LA Cotton for that!!!

I loved this book from the moment I read the first page. I just...I couldn't even tell you, but the story grabbed you right away and never let you go again!

It's been made clear in the beginning, that Ana has secrets. I mean, who doesn't, right? But then again, I don't think ours go as far as Ana's in that extend. However, the moment it becomes clear that there's so much more to her than meets the eye, I WANTED to know what it was. LA leaves little clues throughout the whole book, like bread crumbs you can't wait to find, and makes it that much more enjoyable to get through the book and till the end. Well, not that the end was something I was looking forward to, simply because it was just gonna be that: the end. Ana is an amazing character that tries to pick up the pieces of her broken life. Is it easy for her? No way! But it wouldn't be easy for anyone. It's a brutally real portray of a girl who has lost all that is important in her life. So getting up from that is hard. VERY hard. Until Jackson enters her life...

Jackson...Oh my, Jackson! He had my heart the minute he first stepped on the scene. Yes, the FIRST time he stepped on the scene! For you to understand that, you NEED TO READ THIS BOOK. I know, I completely used capital letters on purpose so you know you have to get this book. His character isn't without flaws, but the inner conflict that he goes through here, just makes him all the more real and likeable to me as a reader. Because we all know how difficult it can be to question your loyalty.

The story itself was amazing as well! So well thought out, gripping and exciting. The school rivalries, the loyalties and the lies told are what will keep you at the edge of the seat, no matter what. You will not want this book to finish because you know the end is gonna kill you!

At this point, I NEED the next book. I need it, because I need more Ana, more Jackson and more of everything that this story brough to life. So please LA Cotton, can you release the next book like yesterday? I'd be VERY grateful!!
