Miss - Harloe Rae

BLURB

Delilah Sage was my comfort within all the pain.
Offering open arms when I needed an escape.
The only one trusted to be there for me.
But our dreams were doomed from the start.
And I left her clinging to false hope.

Regret has plagued me for years.
The memories of Delilah refuse to fade.
Each second of every day, I want to claim her as mine.
But I won’t ruin her life.
And she’s better off without me.

When a job lands me in town, I plan to keep my distance.
My scars are mine alone.
Dredging up the past will only cause deeper damage.
But Delilah has always been my weakness.
And resisting her isn’t an option.

After all, there’s far too much for us to miss.

KC’s review:

Man, I’ve been dying for this book, and Harloe Rae does not disappoint at tall. The ride is emotional, and trust me, this second-chance romance has it all: sweetness, a swoon-worthy hero, chuckles, and hot as f*** scenes. WOW.
Delilah is reluctant at first, but I can absolutely understand that. Everything she does and say, the way she acts? It’s so real, so believable, and that makes her one of the best characters I’ve read in a while. I mean, we all know that Zeke is the best thing about this book, wanting to make it ultimately right for his girl, but… yeah, I totally have a girl crush on Delilah. SO MUCH.
And… I so loved seeing Trey again. *sighs dreamily* I’m so glad I got my hands on this book. So so glad.
Everyone, go and read it. <3
